this is my beloved presentation group... really wanna thank them for the wonderful time! it's super funny with this guys around... fr left: -jingda- he is the contrast of the rest... he is cool n calm, he displays a more serious attitude with a tinge of humour... -kenneth- u look at him u'll think he's the quiet type but u r wrong!!! he is damn funny with loads of crap n he can imitate the canto n indian slang so well... wahaha... laugh till peng... -xianglong- he's a blur king, he actually left his lap top in the photocopying place in the library but luckily he got it back... he's another one with hidden talent: imitation of indian slang... haha... n look at the cool pose in the photo! haha... -melvin- the only beefy hunk in our group... =p look at those muscles!!! haha... n he is a gd actor!!! haha...

I LOST MY PHONE!!!

ok i admit i was careless... i was having lesson in engine n went to toilet during break time... i brought my phone n i left it on the latch. i forgot abt it n went back to class... abt 5 mins later i noticed my phone is gone so i quickly rushed down n look for it but it wasn't there anymore... i was like OMG... jia lut liao la... i went back to class n borrowed jingda's phone to call mine... but it's switched off already... i knew tat's the end le... if the girl has the intention to return it to u she would neva switched it off...

haiz... y r pple so greedy? if it's me i would definitely return it... i swear... coz i've returned it once before... how can u not feel guilty when taking something tat's not urs... it's not just the phone itself... there r many things u lose, like pictures... photos capture the moment, once u lost it, u can't capture the same feeling anymore... it's gone forever... the things u hang on the phone, it may be a gift fr someone which means something to u... n opportunities... wat if someone called u for an interview n the person smsed u the address... but u lost ur phone, u may jus lose this chance...

so the person who takes the phone... u're not jus stealing the phone, u're stealing away other pple's precious memories, u're stealing away other pple's once in a life time opportunity... how can u live with tat... wouldn't u hope tat others will return u ur phone if u misplaced it? u noe how it feels to lose something impt? think abt it... u like it? no... then dun do it to others... if u dun care, then i can only say tat u're selfish n dun give a damn of wat other pple feels...

ok... i have 2 tests n a presentation nxt wk... sianz... damn tired n need a gd break... shld i do the presentation?

this is the deal fr my prof... he said he is giving us a chance to earn some marks fr him if we give him a gd presentation... this is to help those who has not done particulary well for the test n term paper... so i'm not sure wat is considered borderline n is in need of the marks... ok i got 12.5/20 for the test n B for my paper... i think i'm average... so i asked shaun... he said he is doing be coz he cares enough to do it... so i was like ok shld do... but now i realised i have 2 tests nxt wk... i would be really shag to do the presentation... how? sigh...

effort, performance n results...

well... all 3 do not correlate... at least in some sense... ok example: u may study real hard (effort), can do all the test qns (performance), but cui outcome (results). ok u can come up with all the possible permutations n ya, u can think of examples to fit in all those situations...

well... to explain for this poor correlation... u may be studying hard but not smart (more effort doesn't mean gd), being too over confident or too nervous during the test (affecting performance) n results will be dependent on the 2 factors (effort n performance) n of coz the person marking the paper... ha... now we noe tat results is something tat is out of our control in some sense... wat we muz do to improve our results is to deal with effort n performance... even so, there r pple who put in minimal effort, saying tat they can't do the qns n yet getting gd results... hmm... there seems to be some other factors affecting results... n wat i presume here... there is an element of luck tat plays a part n the person's own abilities (e.g. intelligence).

so in conclusion... some factors certainly is out of our control n it contributes to the results we r getting... oh well... wat can i do... =|

happy april fool's day everyone! think i need to see fresh things... so got to change my layout every month... haha... been tired doing presentations... seems never ending... n the show 一房半厅一水缸 is making me pek cek... can't stand carol... she's lying to her sis n she's abandoning her family for money! wat the hell... cannot tahan... damn disgusting... dun like gals who r 爱慕虚荣. feel like slapping her... then xiuming so poor thing, like ding yi but can't express her love for him due to her haughty sis... everytime i see her i feel sad for her... i really can't wait for carol to expose herself, let everyone knows her hidden agenda n ding yi dumps her for xiuming... *waiting* wahahaha... i would be so happy to see both of them together... so sweet right???!!! =) overall really nice show... but i get very emotional when i see shows... i would feel angry, sad, happy, nervous, etc for the characters... n it really shows on my face... haha... gd n bad in a sense... if happy then gd la... but if i see injustice i would really feel angry n will make noise one... oops... haha... well u can say i'm very affected by the pple around me... so i always like to make pple feel happy... indirectly it'll make me happy as well... =)
